(Don’t know what this is all about? Read the introduction here)
The town of Derwent is finally finished, inside and out. *And Jake gave a heavy sigh of relief.*
Only four towns to go!…*gulp*
Frankly I can’t face spending anymore time on creating houses next weeks so I’m going to be moving on to creating a few enemies to be fought around the area of Derwent. This should give me a much welcome break from interior design.

What's in the boxes?
As you can see from the picture on the right I have completed the castle of Derwent where much of the story takes place. The party will return here after most missions to receive information on where to go next. This information will be relayed by the King of Derwent and his Royal Mystic.
I also put the finishing touches on a couple of the houses.
Next week as well as creating some monsters to fight I will also add a few NPC to the town of Derwent that can be interacted with. If all goes according to plan I will include a file in next week’s diary entry where you can wander around the town of Derwent and fight a few battles too.
It’s a short entry this week because I’m running out of things to say about house design…I’m no Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen after all. Things should pick up next week though as I move into more interesting areas of RPG Maker VX.
So stay tuned until next week where you will be able to try Shades of Grey: Demon Uprising for the very first time!
