If you’re like me you might very well have a Wii gathering dust somewhere around your house. It might just be time to pull out your tickle stick (by which I of course mean feather duster) and do a little spring cleaning as Nintendo France have confirmed The Last Story will be released in Europe on the Wii. The scheduled release date is the first half of 2012.

The Last Story is an action roleplaying game created by some of the original makers of the Final Fantasy series. It is already out in Japan and has received great reviews including a 38/40 from Famitsu.

Along with the release of Xenoblade Chronicles and (possibly) Pandora’s Tower, 2012 could be one of the better years for Wii gamers as Nintendo makes the transition from the Wii to the Wii U.
