PS Vita Specs Announced
Sony have revealed the specs for the upcoming PS Vita and they absolutely blow the 3DS out of the water.
The PS Vita will have 512MB of RAM as well as 128MBS of VRAM compared to 64MB of RAM and 4MB of VRAM on the 3DS.
The PS Vita will also have applications that let users log into popular social networking sites such as Facebook, Foursquare, Skype and Twitter.

If Sony can find the right launch price to compete with the 3DS the battle could be over very quickly.

3DS Price Cut Due Soon
If you’ve been thinking about buying a 3DS then you might want to hold off until August 12th when it is expected that there will be a price cut of roughly a third off RRP across Europe.
“Nintendo of Europe will be reducing the European trade price of Nintendo 3DS to retailers by around a third from 12th August 2011, as part of a global trade price reduction initiative,” Nintendo told Eurogamer.
Don’t be angry though if you bought a 3DS at launch price as those who’ve done so will be eligible for the new 3DS Ambassador Programme. The programme will allow those who paid the launch price for the 3DS to download ten NES games and ten Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games for free.
To register as a 3DS Ambassador you must connect to the Nintendo eShop before August 12th.
