Despite a series of awful review Aliens: Colonia Marines managed to secure the number one spot in the charts this week.

Assassin’s Creed III sneaks its way back into the top ten thanks to the first round of price cuts on the hit game.

UK Games Charts – Week Ending July 21st 2012

Lego Batman 2 is still the best selling game in the UK, this week marks its fifth week at the top spot of the charts.

New entry Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance charted sixth marking a strong period for the 3DS which is currently the best selling console on the market.

UK Games Charts – Week Ending June 2nd 2012

Just like the jubilee celebrations, this has been a boring week in the games charts. There’s no new entries into the top ten and only minimal movement with Battlefield 3 being the highest riser, moving from twelfth to eighth.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier fends off Max Payne 3 for a second week. Can it make it a hat-trick next week?

UK Games Charts – Week Ending March 31st 2012

Fifa Street stays at the top this week despite aggressive price cuts on Mass Effect 3 which saw it jump up one place. For the record, that means that (so far) Mass Effect 3 has only enjoyed one week at the top of the charts.

New entries to the top ten include Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 (just in time for the Masters) and the well-titled Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. Who said Japanese style games can’t sell well over here?

UK Games Charts – Week Ending February 11th 2012

Final Fantasy XIII-2′s brief run at the top is over, usurped by another RPG in the form of Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning.

The biggest leap up the charts is from Mario & Sonic London 2012 Olympic Games. Perhaps a “long jump” is a better description of its chart activity as it rose 19 places.
